About Me
I am a dedicated Child and Adolescent Psychologist with over 12 years of professional experience in psychological assessment, therapy, special education, and training. My work is driven by a single, unwavering conviction that every child, regardless of their challenges, carries within them an extraordinary potential waiting to be understood, nurtured, and expressed.
My academic foundation is both rigorous and far-reaching. I hold an M.Phil. in Applied Psychology from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan a research-intensive qualification equivalent to 18 years of education alongside an Advanced Diploma in Clinical Psychology (ADCP), a Master of Science in Psychology, and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). This unique combination of clinical training, psychological science, and educational expertise allows me to work with children and families from a truly holistic perspective one that bridges the worlds of the mind, the classroom, and the home.
Currently, I serve as a Psychologist (BS-17) at the MNS Center of Excellence, Special Education School, under the Government of Punjab a position I have held with distinction since 2016. In this role, I conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, develop individualised support plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of educators, administrators, and families to ensure that every child receives the targeted, compassionate care they deserve. Prior to this, I served as a Visiting Faculty Member in the Department of Applied Psychology at BZU Multan, where I taught and mentored undergraduate and postgraduate psychology students. I have also served as an External Examiner for university-level examinations, and gained valuable clinical experience at Nishter Hospital Multan and Nai-Zindagi Hospital Multan, where I provided psychological support, psychodiagnosis, and psychotherapy to patients across a range of clinical presentations.
My specialist areas of practice include academic difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), behavioural challenges, and social skills development. I am equally experienced in conducting both Diagnostic and Personality Assessments using internationally recognised, standardised psychometric tools producing detailed reports with actionable recommendations for families, schools, and clinical teams. Beyond individual therapy and assessment, I am passionate about community education, offering Mental Health Workshops, Parenting Workshops, and Stress Management Workshops to schools, organisations, and families across Multan because lasting change begins not just in the therapy room, but in the wider world around every child.
My M.Phil. research thesis “A Comparative Study of Learning Style Preferences and Cognitive Styles Among University Students” reflects my deep interest in how young minds process and engage with the world, and continues to inform my clinical and educational practice to this day.
At the heart of everything I do is a simple, enduring belief: a child who feels understood is a child who can grow. Whether I am working one-on-one with a young person navigating emotional difficulties, supporting a family through the complexities of a new diagnosis, or equipping a room full of parents with practical tools for connection I bring the same warmth, professionalism, and evidence-based commitment to every interaction.
I warmly welcome families, schools, and organisations in Multan and beyond to reach out and begin a conversation about how I can support the young people in your life.
Offered Services
Child Psychology and Adolescent Therapy Four Core Service Areas
Academic Support & Academic Problems
Struggling with school can affect more than grades; it shapes a child's confidence, motivation, and sense of self. As a specialist in child and adolescent psychology, I help young learners identify the root causes behind academic challenges, whether rooted in attention difficulties, learning differences, test anxiety, or emotional blocks. Through targeted, evidence-based interventions, we build stronger study habits, improve concentration, and restore a child's belief in their own ability. The goal is not just better performance in school it is a lasting love for learning.
Ages 5–18 Individual & family sessions
Autism Treatment
Every child on the autism spectrum is unique with distinct strengths, needs, and ways of experiencing the world. My approach to autism treatment is compassionate, child-led, and grounded in the latest research. I work closely with children and their families to develop personalised intervention plans that support communication, emotional regulation, sensory processing, and daily life skills. Sessions are structured to create a safe, predictable environment where children feel respected and empowered. I also partner with parents and caregivers, equipping them with strategies to extend progress beyond the therapy room and into everyday life.
Early intervention to adolescence · Parent guidance included
Behavioural Issues
Challenging behaviour in children and adolescents is rarely without reason it is often a communication of unmet needs, unresolved emotions, or environmental pressures. I specialise in understanding the triggers and patterns behind behaviours such as aggression, defiance, impulsivity, frequent outbursts, and school refusal. Using proven behavioural and cognitive approaches, I work with children to develop healthier ways of expressing themselves, while helping families and schools create consistent, supportive structures. Change takes time, and I walk alongside the child and their family at every step of that journey.
Individual, parent & school collaboration available
Meaningful friendships and healthy peer relationships are fundamental to a child's emotional well-being and long-term happiness. Some children find social interactions confusing, overwhelming, or anxiety-provoking and that is completely understandable. Through structured, engaging therapy, I help children and adolescents develop the skills they need to connect with others: reading social cues, initiating and maintaining conversations, managing conflict, practising empathy, and building self-confidence in group settings. Sessions may be conducted individually or in small groups, providing a real-world environment in which to practise and grow with the guidance of a supportive professional.
Individual & group therapy options available
Understanding a child's challenges begins with a clear, accurate picture of who they are cognitively, emotionally, and developmentally. Diagnostic assessments are comprehensive, structured evaluations designed to identify the presence and nature of psychological, neurodevelopmental, or learning conditions such as ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), dyslexia, anxiety disorders, and other emotional or behavioural difficulties. Using internationally recognised, standardised tools and clinical interviews, I gather a detailed understanding of a child's strengths alongside their areas of difficulty. The process is collaborative involving the child, parents, and where appropriate, school staff to ensure a holistic view. The outcome is a thorough written report with a clear diagnosis (where applicable), meaningful insights, and a practical set of recommendations tailored to the child's specific needs. A diagnosis is not a label; it is a starting point for the right support.
Every young person has a unique psychological makeup a distinct set of traits, thought patterns, emotional tendencies, and ways of relating to the world. Personality assessments provide a deep, evidence-based understanding of these inner dimensions, going beyond surface-level behaviour to reveal the underlying character of a child or adolescent. Using validated psychometric instruments, I explore areas such as emotional stability, temperament, interpersonal style, coping mechanisms, self-concept, and resilience. These assessments are especially valuable when a young person faces persistent difficulties that are not fully explained by a specific diagnosis offering parents, educators, and therapists a richer, more nuanced understanding of who the child truly is. The findings inform more personalised therapeutic approaches, better communication strategies, and stronger relationships between the child and the significant adults in their life. Knowing yourself is one of the greatest gifts a young person can receive.
Mental health is not a topic to be whispered about it deserves open, informed, and compassionate conversation. These workshops are designed to bring psychological awareness directly into schools, colleges, community centres, and workplaces, creating spaces where young people, educators, and families can learn together. Participants gain a foundational understanding of common mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, and emotional dysregulation, alongside practical tools for early recognition and supportive response. Each session is interactive, age-appropriate, and grounded in evidence-based psychology moving beyond awareness to genuine understanding. By normalising mental health discussions early, we build communities that are more empathetic, more informed, and better equipped to support those who may be silently struggling. Investing in mental health literacy is one of the most powerful steps a school or organisation can take.
Parenting is one of the most rewarding and at times one of the most challenging roles a person can take on. These workshops offer parents and caregivers a supportive, non-judgmental space to deepen their understanding of child development, strengthen the parent-child relationship, and build practical skills for navigating everyday challenges at home. Topics covered include effective communication with children and adolescents, setting healthy boundaries, managing difficult behaviour with empathy and consistency, understanding emotional needs at different developmental stages, and recognising early signs of psychological distress. Drawing on approaches such as Positive Parenting, Attachment Theory, and Cognitive Behavioural strategies, these workshops are as enriching as they are practical. A well-supported parent raises a well-supported child and that ripple effect shapes entire families for generations.
In today's fast-paced world, stress has become a constant companion for many children, adolescents, and adults alike quietly eroding wellbeing, relationships, and performance. These workshops provide participants with a clear understanding of what stress is, how it affects the mind and body, and most importantly how to manage it effectively before it becomes overwhelming. Through a blend of psychoeducation, mindfulness techniques, breathing exercises, cognitive reframing strategies, and lifestyle guidance, participants leave with a personalised toolkit they can reach for in moments of pressure. Whether delivered to students facing exam season, teachers managing professional burnout, or parents balancing competing demands, each session is tailored to the specific audience and their unique stressors. Managing stress is not a luxury it is an essential life skill, and one that can be learned at any age.
